Transparent protective film? What & where?

Featured Replies

I'm looking to protect the door shuts above the rear wheel archs on a 2010 Yeti with something similar to the protective film that Skoda use on the flared rear doors on the same vehicle.

I'm guessing I'll probably have to buy a sheet and cut to my own design, but I've no idea what it's called or where to buy it or what is a good product that can be removed without paint damage later in life.

Open to guidance and suggestions please. Especially if you know domeone who makes these pre-cut...

It's not the actual door foils I'm on about. The dealer is (hopefully) going to respray and fit those before Chrustmas.

It's the door shuts I'm after protecting. If you open the rear door and follow the painted section up from where the door sill protectors might be and up over the rear wheel arch. The area towards the silver hook for the door lock.

I'll get a picture tomorrow and you'll see the area along with a scratch SWMBO put in from the ISOFIX fitting on our child seat as she was taking it out if the car.

Thanks. That's the right sort of stuff and looks like a suitable width as well.

Will have to read up on the application process. Seems like a good prices as well; especially as the foils for the Yeti rear doors are £15 a side!

Has anyone used anything like this and can recommend a specific product?
