I've spent the morning at Awesome GTI having the Milltek Cat Back, VW Racing filter and Torrox Strada brake pads fitted. Next it was the 30min drive over to Noise Killer in Oldham for the sound proofing kit fitted to Sharky.

Thinking of Buying an Elroq 55KW SE 50

I have a 1.0 litre Karoq at the moment and am thinking of buying a nearly new Elroq SE50. My annual mileage isn't that much (around 5,000 miles per year), mainly around town with the odd motorway journey of around 200 miles each way maybe once a year. The Elroq is a few months old with around 1,500 miles on the clock. My questions are: Will I be OK with the 50SE given my low annual mileage or do I need a car with a bigger battery? Not being a technical person, is it likely to be beyond me t

Little update since i posted about my Superb 280 going stage 2 back in may. I have questioned the high torque figure ( 618nm) with the tuner and was assured that it's a safe map, ok i left it at that. Three days after remap, car starts burning oil without even being pushed hard. So i switched to thicker 5w40 Castrol Edge ( issue rectified) Week later i pinned it from traffic lights and car cut power after 5000rpm. Gear changes felt really rough and jerky. Questioned it with the tuner, got nowher

Morning all, Got a bit of a problem with my 16 Plate tdi VRS. Had a coolant loss issue for a while now, it wouldnt happen all the time, but sometimes when opening the bonnet I would find the coolant tank empty, or the fault would come up on the dash. Ive now confirmed that the coolant only ever empties, after ive had the blowers on inside the car. Hot or cold, it doesnt matter. I also found that it tends to come out of the expansion cap, so it seems to be over pressurising the system. Took it

Last September my Kamiq 1.5 DSG 2020reg (regularly serviced) displayed 'Gearbox in Emergency Mode'. Very near home so able to limp home. Dealer took it in and fixed it under extended warranty. All okay until a month ago when it happened again, this time far from home. Switched off the car, restarted and all back to normal and drove perfectly. Yesterday it happened again and only D2 available. Started car today, no problem, all working, no warning sign. I'll be contacting the dealer again

We hadn't used our Karoq much before we wnt on holiday on 22nd June. On the way to Folkestone (or maybe the day before) we had a message about a software update, which I accepted. I rarely use the ACC as I don't like the way it manages speed, and since just after we got it, I managed to switch off the ACC, and just use it as cruise control. What I could do was to pull the switch at a speed I wanted to maintain and it would continue at that speed unless there were vehicles ahead. However, when I
