Prototype on the road!

Tell yuou what that is one massive rear door - look at how long it is!

Yes, exciting times! I just can't wait for the reveal in Feb 2015. It will be hatch only but key fob operated which is good. Some of my other observations are....there will be EPB (electronic park brake) and no more conventional hand brake which frees up the space for a bigger cup holder (2 standard sized + 1 x 500ml coke bottle fit). 2 x mini umbrellas in row 1 door (each) this time : ) then connectivity for Row 2 occupants will be improved with this tablet holder which can be docked on Row 2 centre armrest to control nav, media etc (simply clever solution)

No more B pillar vents (like luxury cars) instead they've been moved back to rear of centre console. Door bins are much bigger than the existing Superb which is another improvement. I'm not sure 12" TFT cluster will be introduced like the New Passat which is slightly disappointing for a flagship Skoda.

Overall, it should be a good looking car than the current ones (which is more traditional but with a great interior). I'm not sure if the next gen's interior would be overwhelming coz from the spy shots, it just looks like an 'octavia upgrade with an 8" infotainment screen. Head room has been improved (current Superb is not great in terms of head clearance for taller occupants but best in class knee room).

That's it for now. Full LED headlights should be available Elegance up to L&K if you ask me (when Seat Leon can offer).

Exterior design has been improved for sure but it is difficult to say if the interior of the next Superb has been upgraded coz it is already one of the finest in its segments.
