Hello all,

been lurking for a while and picked up some great info from the forums. I've had my 02 Octavia Elegance Tdi hatch for two weeks and so far it's every bit as good as I thought it would be. Feels like a brand new car (only 16k). Long may it continue.

I'm curious though. Can't help thinking it'll be a collection of lovely VRS's and 4x4's (one day I'll get one) and my old oil burner bringing up the rear. Or am I missing the point? Sure, my car's a great car but I wouldn't call it an enthusiasts car. Not the sort of car I imagined taking to a club meet anyway.

But you certainly know how to make chap feel welcome, I'll give you that. And I know the Ffyon Wen, it's not too far from me. So maybe another time.
