Potenial Yeti purchase - advice wanted.

Hi All,

I am thinking of buying a Yeti, diesel, prefererably a 4WD version. Looking to spend about 12K so a quick look on autotrader means it's going to be in the 09-12 range depending on spec level.

Now for some questions:

Do they have any common faults or areas I should be looking at? (eg last time I got a passat I was told to avoid a certain engine code)

Is the haldex unit reliable? - what version is likely to be in a 09-12 car?

Is it possible to retrofit a factory option like the heated windscreen? (I know most things are possible given enough money but I'm being sensible here)

Any other opinions or advice welcomed.
