Any takers for this?

How easy (or hard) is this to fit? I really want a module to integrate with my columbus but as I don't have maxidot my options are limited and very pricey.

This could be a cheaper alternative.

This would do that job for you and there are a couple of options - fit yourself or have it fitted.

If you fit yourself you'll obviously need to take some of the interior out to connect to rear of stereo, run cables etc. Mine is fitted with a quadlock into the back of the stereo which helps. If you are confident then its probably a good 2 hour job, maybe more.

The other option would be to have it fitted by a local auto electrician or car radio expert. I think there are also mobile fitters too. Not sure on cost for this though but I would imagine it's around the £70 mark. I could do something on price to help you.

OK, thanks for your reply, I will have a think about it and drop you an PM when I have made my mind up.

Have heard that these are good kits and was nearly tempted for our runaround but then couldnt justify spending that much on a "nice to have" in an old runarond.

Thanks, yes they are great kits, not had a single problem with mine at all.

Still available if anyone is interested.

Hey Coops, I was trying to find some installation guide for Skoda Octavia II but I can't find any.

Could be interested in this if I can figure out how to install it without voiding the Fabia warranty (its a PCP deal). Might have a word with Skoda tomorrow and see how much for them to install

This Sfs? as my father in law has been looking for one of these for ages
