Telboy. Your car sounds awesome. Has your economy dipped? Mine dropped by 5mpg since the remap.

Stuy enjoy the new car. Congratulations.

Thanks mate [emoji6][emoji106]

Your new car sounds brilliant - and it's exactly what I want to replace my car with. One day... To be honest mine is still fine despite being 9 years old in March.. though she's only 68000 miles old, there's loads of life in the old girl yet :)

In general terms heard it was improved, how was it 'thin' like?! Was it that bad?!

Sit in a mk2 FL and sit in a new one and compare. It's that easy. The Mk2 is more tactile and has a better finish IMO. That's why I'm not buying one, together with the handbrake being on the wrong side, the bonnet release being on the wrong side and it's bigger which I don't want or need.  I'm fine with mine and am going to run it until it stops.

I completely forgot about the handbrake being on the wrong side. I didn't realise that the bonnet release was also wrong side.

Maybe your seat is on the wrong side :p

Thanks mate, gonna really miss my current one, it's immaculate, too right, she'll last a long while yet, low mileage that too, get ripped off with trade in prices so trying to sell mine privately [emoji6]

I'd have bought yours in a heartbeat - I know someone who would have been keen to buy my car but at the moment I can't justify buying another vehicle.

I also dropped over £1K in maintenance in September, so it's good for another 4 years at least now! (and I do 8K a year ish - so that'll take it up to 100K in 2018, it'll be time to chop in for a new one then)

Enjoy your new car :)
