Hi all . I purchased myself a fabia vrs on Thursday .. 03 model with 128k on it .. Seemed fairly priced at £1300 with full service history and cambelt done 3k ago .. So far I love the economy ;) . It does have a few issues though .. Pulls to the left a little and something feels very loose at front on uneven roads , yet to get it up in the air to look ! Any pointers though ,, sounds similar to knackered top mounts on a mk2 golf . But you don't have to go over bumps for the noise to occur .

Think I'm gonna love this little car though

Thanks chaps tony

The knocking is probably the anti roll bar drop links, the ball joints on them often go bust and start knocking.

The slight pull to the left is common (mine does) under acceleration, something to do with torque pull.

Mine since new, nearly 10 years old now has done this, Skoda dealership said quirk to my model..

As to the steering, check the bushes in the rear of the front alloy wishbone, prone for wearing out !!

Briskoda members have renewed their own, but I let the garage replace them with the now modified rubber bushes (one each side)

This is the car . Better pictures to follow . I think it needs to be lowered .. And some general tidying up .. All comments welcome on what I should do ..

And list of mods , hopefully so inexpensive ones
