What's Those Grey Ones Called?

Featured Replies

There's 2 Fabias knocking round here with a look that's a cross between a Monte & a VRS but they're a battleship grey colour..................there's something written in the front wings but I've never been close enough to read it. I don't really like the colour but in a weird way they look the part. What are they called?

The grey that kinda looks like primer? Meteor grey?

Pinched this pic off the forum. So sorry if the owners seen this haha.

Just lookin through the specs.

Its basically an S with a electric windows n a few other little bits

Is it bad I quite like it?

I cant make my mind up on it haha.

EDIT.

1.2 12V 69ps

the 3 near me look terrible, 2 are always dirty, and the 3rd comes straight out the garage and is very shiny and still looks gash,

IMHO.

It's a very confusing colour but then I've only seen one in the flesh for 5 mins

I've seen a Monte in that colour, black roof, arches and sills and the Monte badge. I thought it looked quite good actually.

I have seen a very smart Monte Carlo Estate in Meteor Grey,

& just the pictures of a members Fabia vRS Estate.     Never a vRS in the Flesh. other than Octavias.

Seen a few of these and they're vile

It looks like a colour that you might think was cool for about a month, then start regretting more and more. Even the yellow would be a better choice.

Very light Kerb Weight.  Which is good thing.

Hows that work?

My SE is 1095kg according to the specs.

Where could the other 75kg come from?

Its the corsa LE of the fabia world isnt it.

All the sporty looks from the outside. And a 1.2 NA under the bonnet.

Sayin that, the monte isnt far behind is it.

It should be about the same as a Fabia S if it comes without a Spare Wheel as standard.

Skoda brochure had it at 1,020 Kerb Weight.

Same as they gave for 1.2 12v 69ps SE /SE Plus / Elegance /Monte Carlo

Thinking Marley Gutter Grey. Strikes me as the sort of colour that would have been available on Morris Minors.

Ah must be my source thats wrong. I only googled it. Mines got a spare but it was an extra.

I dno if it has AC either. I hear those pumps arent too light.

If the grey was much darker then i think it would have looked better, too light imo
