Love the look of this car

i may regret the tyres but i wasnt expecting to be paying out for some just yet. needs must for £60 cant be that bad and the tyres that came off were so loud.

Dont worry about it mate.

It is what it is, and the baby comes first!

Let me know if you want to swap lights.

Thanks for the comments. I am not sure what I want to do yet. I want to see what silver lights and a red top grille looks like.

I am yet to see another one like this. The only other red I have seen wat black roof, black wheels with silver lights

Yes I plan to change my black top grill peice to body colour too. Drop me a pm if you decide you want the lights.

Since I haven't done an update I a while to prove car is still around.

We have been umming and arring about changing the car for a while but we have both come to the realisation that we actually really like this car. Yes it may get cramped now we have a 10 week old as well but I got given a set of roof bars and a thule roof rack FOC and we decided to keep it for at least another year. Its a great car and certainly puts a smile on my face.

Since the last update, I haven't had chance to do a great deal to it with the arrival of my daughter but I have managed to sort a few little things. I changed the badges as old ones were going white due to age. I decided to go for the older style rather than the new style as price was a bit cheaper. Also I have had the wheels refurbished again in silver. It was a hard decision between the black and silver or gun metal. For me, black looked to monte carlo ish and grey didn't look OEM so silver they stayed. The suspension has really settled nicely and I think it is a perfect stance. I am torn whether to get spacers or not. Thoughts?

Anyway some pictures.

Aww brilliant ours is amazing in the car fair play and all day she is fasto but as soon as we go to bed all hell breaks loose!

We have done a few long journeys and she loves going in the car. The other half has got used to the paddle shift gearbox now and she will now always drive using them. She says gives more control and more flexibility. This is the first gearbox like this she has driven and says she wont go back to manual now. We are currently averaging 48mpg fully loaded after a few runs back from North Norfolk.

Fair play brilliant mpg, my other half doesn't like my car after the suspension change. Also she had a C section unexpectedly so that could be why, so we are using her 2011 fiesta lovely to drive just miss 5 doors. Only driven one Fabia vRS and the gearbox was the thing that really stood out :)

My other half never used to be bothered about cars, but she commented on the factory suspension being too high and that the way it looks now is 10x better. Also we feel the car feels nicer to drive and event though the steering is a bit numb you feel a little more connected some how. When we have the car in D, the MPG is low 40s but in drive and when you can hold the car in a gear before changing makes all the difference. S mode though is a waste of time.

My other half still isn't interested in cars, keep throwing in the hint that a octavia vRS is more of a family car. Everytime we see one out I point it out (: I think once she's better my car will be fine. I find it much nicer to drive I'd rather a firm ride as I feel in more control if that makes sense. Fit my car seat this weekend :)

if fitting the car seat, the squabs have to be really squashed down to get to the ISOFIX points as they are rather low down. I put it in and it hasnt come out since.

Oh doesn't matter anyway got car seats now to last her years. Couldn't resist the Recaro seat for when she's 3 :)
