Anti Camera Plates

Featured Replies

Illegal in use, yes.

But fine to flip on a showplate for a track day/show etc...

Perfect for showing off wide mouth grilles,

I've seen them on a police type show. On a corsa. The ANPR couldn't read the plate. So they do exist. Not really worth the bother though, I assume they only work with video cameras due to frame rates and not with single exposure cameras.

Defo not worth it on a corsa haha

I have seen this posted about FB a good few times in last year.

Hmmm

Those seem to be anti flash letters. Not sure about ANPR and SPECs not seeing them. Standard Gatso cameras might struggle with them as they flash, but other than that I'm not sure they'd be any use.

Turn the photos into a negative and they are still readable.

As has been said on here earlier.

buy a Porsche 928 and fit fake plates, H982FKL  would be a good bet as the real car probably won't come back to the UK soon...

People delivering new cars seem to get away with no plates at all including displaying trades.being as there are so few police and there's going to be less, people will always take the risk, what worries me is when one of these vehicles is involved in a hit and run injury accident.
