My name is Tim and I have recently got a Skoda Fabia mk1 as a repair project, it has a few of the "regular" faults.

Hej Tim, my Son is west of Stockholm, along the E18. Ekolsund, Enkoping. He's taken me fishing often, on Lake Malaren. I see you are perfectly situated for fishing then, where you live lol, it's my favourite hobby. Sweden is a beautiful country (apart from the mosquito's in summer haha). Allright, i know where it lies, never been there though. Fishing are my favourite thing to do, i have fished Lake Mälaren and connecting waters a couple of times. Specimen fishing in small lakes are what i like best, and have been angling for tench a lot these last couple of years. In the summer i fish almost everyday! So, did you catch anything fun in Mälaren? 

At the moment theres no motoring in my Fabia  , I'm trying to sort some things out, the main thing is the power steering pump, but i also have quite a few worn parts to change and a thorough service is needed. 

Only lure fishing on Malaren, on my Sons little boat. Usually pike & some nice perch (just short of 1kg) which was nice. Just the one time i caught a zander, maybe you call them pike-perch? i'm not sure. The small lakes (ponds) over here is also my favourite fishing, mainly for carp but it's also nice to catch tench, they are beautiful fish. We usually visit my Son in the summer, but hopefully we will make it in the winter soon (for some ice-fishing) which i've never done!

Hope you get your power steering pump sorted & the other thing done soon. So far....i've fitted wind-deflectors, mud-flaps front & back & Briskoda sticker in rear window lol. Car is having HID's fitted on Tuesday, so that just leaves the alpine head unit to do. Oh happy days lol. Good luck with the car Tim, oh..& the fishing. Malc.

Sweet! Thats a pretty nice Perch! I think i've heard both names, Zander are probably the most common name, in swedish they are called "Gös". I would also like to fish Carp, but sadly, we haven't got as many good spots as you guys.
