Steering Wheel Size

Featured Replies

I'm about to order a Yeti Elegance. While looking through the options list I see there is an option for the Monte Carlo steering wheel.

Ok it's flat at the bottom but apart from that, as the elegance has the radio and phone controls as standard, what's the difference? I was told its smaller but wonder if anyone knows by how much?

If you're buying a DSG, stick with the standard wheel, then change it for a paddleshift one afterwards (with a flat bottom if you like). A much better option than some gimmiky flat-bottomed wheel.

Thanks for the tip... Greatly appreciated.... However the lease company will let me choose an option but not permit a retrofit.

I just thought if the Monte wheel was noticeably smaller I might opt fot it as my wife has a Pug2008 which has a steering wheel the size of the Motalita one I had on my Mini Cooper in the 60's / 70's

TBH the lease company won't have clue you have retro fitted it. It is a genuine skoda wheel and even if they notice the paddles (which they probably won't) they will just assume they were factory fit.
