Sorted out and signed paperwork today. Collecting SE in Candy White on Wednesday. She was looking really good today in dealership, plated up but still needing a valet.

Declined paint protection.

Declined gap insurance at dealers- 3 years return to invoice with easygap was £75 but they discounted to£35 after canceling the policy on the 1 year old Fiat Panda I traded in for the upmiigo.

As a long term bike fanatic and forum user I can see the point of pictures if something is interesting or individual but it's just a standard white SE model.

A picture paints a thousand words. You've gone to the effort of tellings us it looks good but then if as you say it's nothing out of the ordinary why post in the first place?

We are all interested in cars so whether its standard or not is not the point.

I can't speak for others but a picture of your new pride and joy is more interesting than hearing about paint protection and GAP insurance :-)

The GAP insurance is interesting as personally, I wouldn't pay the dealership £300 for the same cover.

Different people find different things interesting I guess.

Everyone who has posted has said they like looking at other peoples Skoda's. Funny that on a forum for Skoda enthusiasts.

I couldn't wait to show off my new wheels (a bog standard Skoda), why? It was my pride and joy and I enjoy showing and sharing stuff about my car with others.

Still, everyone is different and I understand you don't get it. The main thing is you are on the best Skoda forum there is!

Thanks. Both are filthy after this weather and need a clean. Drive up to Exeter yesterday for something to do. Car was comfortable and drove really well. Didn't seem to drink hardly any fuel but I have no pid yet so will have to use empty to fill calculations.

Now where can I get a Union Jack for the roof?
