spare wheel

Featured Replies

I like the way it is, as it's cheaper solution. Especially for us who need 2 set of tyres.

I believe it's now an EU requirement to have flat tyre sensors.

I've heard the same.

I've had the warning come on again, on the motorway, beep/dash indication.  I pulled off at the next junction expecting a flat, but they all seemed ok, so I ran round all 4 corners with the pump and they all read about the same so reset it and its seemed ok since.

Is the system prone to giving false indications?, was I going round a long/slow bend confusing the system ie one side of the car's wheels going faster than the other? or some other problem?

I insisted on a spare wheel when I got mine. It added £50 to cost. As I have the normal steel rims ( SE greentech ) the spare wheel is a full size one and can be run as a normal tyre. Its the alloys that have different rim sizes which come with a "cut-down" spare.
