Is it normal that the EPC and TCS are on before ignition?

Featured Replies

Dear Guys,

Before I turn the key to ignition position I hold the key at position vvc for couple of seconds. I found out that all other lights are on and go off except these two lights keeping on until I continue turn the key to ignition position.

Is it normal for all FABIA? I see in the owner's manual that those  lights should be off after the engine is on. Those lights indeed go away after engine on. In this case , the car should be fine now.

I just wonder if this happen to all FABIA or is it an indication of potential problem? or it's just a built-in function?

I am a rookie , so please forgive me novice question.

Best regards,

yes, they stay on when the key is in the middle position and go off after turning the key to ignition position(engine started).

Check if u get any error codes as mine does exactly that. Cant remember exaclty what the code is but its the dreaded load signal wire

Thanks a lot. I will check the code as soon as my ordered odb reader arrives.

BR.

Got mine checked n fixed today.

the wires was corroded n snapped clean off just near the battery.

But them 2 lights are still showing for a couple seconds after start up. [emoji17]

But I've cured my battery light now so i know its charging.

So 1 out of 2 aint bad.

Its progress at least .

do you think there is anything wrong? what does it mean "Fuel Trim: System Too Lean: Bank 1"

the second fault makes sense because i am using the unregistered trial version.

Thanks a lot.
