Darkside Intercoolers.

You would need to fit quite a lot of custom pipe work,as the outlets are on opposite sides.

Not a hard job if your pretty good with tools.

It won't fit.

You would need an angle grinder to massacre the bumper bar. Or some of that Audi Vorsprung Durch Technik to cunningly move everything just enough to fit it.

On top of that, metal pipes, silicone bends, hose clamps and a MAP sensor tube. And possibly some of those VW style hose connectors to connect to the turbo and the ASV.

It will fit,if your ok with tools.

Pretty sure this would fit below the bumper bar, like Joel's was on his old car.

Its designed to fit the mk1 though? I assumed it would drop in?

The seatsport style one also requires a degree of massacring, but it is a great cooler.  Made me realise how much the Allard one was potentially restricting me.

Clearance from the undertray to the bumper bar is around 150-160mm. I guess you could squeeze another couple of inches off it but after that you're into the guts of the bumper bar.

Only way I've seen it done is to space the bumper forwards and swing the rad pack backwards a tad.

There is a reason why they sell

That one bolts straight on. ANYTHING can be made to fit. There is a guy on here fitting 4WD and a big engine into a CitiGo, but it's always cheaper just to buy the right thing at the beginning.

And my apologies if you have the BLT engine, the ASZ was just the first one that popped up.

Why do you need one? You don't really need one unless you need to maintain huge power (200bhp+) over long periods in warm conditions. They tend to give fabulous improvements on rolling roads because of the heat soak induced by the lack of airflow. Over 200bhp you may see improvements but under that the benefits are somewhat more nebulous.

Good advice. :D

Nope: "This part is not compatible with Skoda Fabia 2005 6Y2 [1999-2008] Hatchback 1.9 TDI RS."

Fits VW Golf MK4 and similar cars. Mounting lugs and inlet/outlet are wrong for our cars.
