I am fairy certain 1z0857807j is the full rear right (single) seat belt set.

 

Can someone confirm if 1Z1858472C is just the socket/stalk for a LHD Mk2 Estate FL - for the rear right socket?

 

(The socket is not reliably taking the the buckle and Skoda service want to replace the whole assembly for €250 parts plus @ €250 labour. I am hoping to find a second hand or OEM socket.)

That first part number is the entire unit for the middle seat belt and that second part number looks like it is the one for the front seat sorry.

 

The double latch for the rear seat is available separately but the single latch seems to be part of that middle seat belt mechanism sadly.

In the rear bench there are two sockets, one a double and one a single.  I assumed you were talking about the single.  This seems to be attached to the strap that makes up the middle seat belt and not separate from that.  I think that is why Skoda want to replace the whole part, although the cost seems very high (not that I am familiar with prices in Finland mind you!).

Yes I am looking for the single. On my LHD it is the rear right. 

That would make sense then if 1z0857807j is actually the middle mechanism, which includes the socket for the right.

Drat and double drat. The ballpark GBP price seems to be 170 and above so the 250 EURO price fits. Motoring is incredibly expensive. Have a look on nettiauto.fi and see the used Octy prices - probably 50-75% above UK prices!

Ooof!! Maybe find an Octavia being broken and get the whole belt that way?
