The owner of the shop suggested it will not be held at Elsecar, I asked Si ( by pm) if thats the case 

Council didnt approve of it at all this year apparently. Outgrown the venue.

Thought there were less than last year, they didn't complain when it was ****ing down with rain and everyone turned up , some good weather and its bye bye, a bit short sighted as its been going 16 years and the shops will not do nearly as well , when they all shut up and less council tax for them it will be ironic

In all fairness though it's only one day.... It's usually quite busy on a Sunday anyway and its a busy venue / site throughout the year with plenty of other events taking place at the site, (We're there numerous times a year for events and for birthday parties at the play centre etc....), so i doubt any loss of business on this one day to the shop keepers would be enough to close them all down.

Not had chance to get mine done yet.... Dog has been in the vets all day under the knife but is back home again now feeling really sorry for herself and banging into everything whilst wearing the "Cone of Shame". Thankfully the procedure went well and there was nothing sinister in there.

I'm now working the next three days so will aim to get them done towards the end of the week or at the weekend.
