Good review, TFR will always remove more traffic film than foam/citrus due to its high pH value.

Just tried it today on my car. Seems pretty good, great alternative to snowfoam, but it definitely needs pressure washing off (which was a problem for me as my garage electrics stopped working!), or at least with a jet hose setting. I sprayed it on with a 5L pump sprayer

I work in a school and one of our science teachers is a Doctor of Chemistry. I shall be dropping off some Power Maxed TFR in the next couple of days that has been diluted to different ratios so she can have a look and do some science stuff with it.

I shall report back...

Isnt ph13 where you start to see bleach and 14ish where you get caustic soda? dilution will bring it down of course but its higher than i would have expected as a relative laymen.

look forward to your results anyway Ben (and I might just be investing in a box of gloves)

Gloves?...LOL

Do you think a company would sell a potentially dangerous product to the public?

Do you think I would recommend it to anyone if It was unsafe?.....Im more than happy to use it on my cars and clents' as recommended by Powermaxx

If I was in any doubt about it, I wouldnt use it!

Absolutely correct, that's why dilution is very important, I'd always recommend Nitrile gloves regardless. Skin is very sensitive, A mate of mine had an allergy to Denton shine when he used it as a clay lube. You can never be too safe.

They sell bleach to the public.

I do believe that a product aimed at the professional/enthusiast market, sold undiluted at professional strengths may require a little care to avoid harm. I dont believe that a car cleaning product at proper dilutions would be intrinsically dangerous, especially given the limited skin contact with a spray on and powerwash procedure. More change of tripping over the wash hose.

Of course I do not believe you, or anyone else on here would knowingly recommend a harmful product, and as above I don't doubt its safety (or effectiveness). I was simply surprised by how alkaline it is, hopefully Ben's tests will give more info.

Gloves?...LOL

The gloves suggestion was (mainly) in jest since we are discussing pre-wash and product on skin contact should be minimal. But there are certain tasks I would have no qualms about wearing gloves for, even though I apparently may lose a few man points along the way.

Thanks for taking the time to clarify where you stand on this Simon

There is nothing wrong with tests..I did one to show how good it is..I still stand by that

But there is some over the top scaremongering around this product which, I believe, is unnecessary

If diluted to the correct strength for the job...Its perfectly safe

I always wear gloves. Go through a few boxes in a year. Stops me getting fingerprints all over the place.

Me too

Just Tried to order some, order went through but then got an email afterwards - looks like there are out of stock now until next week earliest, aparently been a huge demand over the last month or so and they've been let down by an ingredient supplier.

I wear gloves now and again..Not a huge fan TBH

Never had any problem with any product or inducing fingerprints either

Each to their own.

Who, Mr Muscle? :giggle:

Joking apart, I'm sure they will get stock in soon.

Youve made it quite clear that this TFR is not for you.

Why do you persist in being rude and sarcastic about it?

It's called humour dear chap, thus the smiley. Rude?????

Hi all

Sorry I haven't posted earlier but it's been manic!

Sorted out our stock issue, we have made loads up from our 25L stock, ingredients arriving on Friday so it will be sorted this week.

As far as the TFR is concerned we have put this to numerous tests on all different types of plastics, rubber, glass etc used neat (concentrate) with no negative effects

If you use the concentrate over 9:1 you will not see any deterioration of your LSP

We had to put the PH of the product at 13 due to legislation, but it is safe, not like other TFR's on the market

Thanks for clarifying this, glad someone contacted you about this thread ;)

No problem once I get some facts on how we differ from other TFR's I'll post and let you all know :)

Thanks for posting Wayne

As you can read above. I did my own test and I'm very happy to recommend this product

It blows away my Citrus Pre Wash and beefs up my snow foam too

So many people are saying the samething! Glad you are liking it!
