uuuuh. I like how it goes into mental mode when there is a car and you put the indicator on. I assume it's also proactive and if you try to change lanes when the system detects a car then the steering wheel will counter your action like in lane-assist?

The video linked here shows that the new Superb indicates cars seen by side assist on the maxi dot. This leads me to believe it might be possible to enable this on the Octavia as well.

Nice job! Would you please share the part number of radar and wire harness?

I found lots of radar from Taobao in CHINA and they are not expensive, but I'm not sure which one can be fit my 2015 Octavia 3.

I have a Octavia MY16.

 

I'm going to do this retrofit also and I have searched many sites both english and germans for all info I could get before doing this retrofit. I was wondering if it might be possible to use the control units from vw passat b8 with partnumber 3Q0907590 and 3Q0907566 as they also use LED's in the mirrors?

Where is the extended can bus wiring? I have a oct3 l&k 2015 and I want to retrofit side assistance.
