Soap Box Grand Prix East Sussex 13th September

Featured Replies

Anyone fancy a briskoda entry,.. build a kart (no engines involved) then throw it and a victim down a big hill in East Sussex. part of some village celebrations and by special invite only of which I've got one :D The kitcar boys will be there in numbers so a bit of healthy competition and some banter will be the order of the day. Should be a cheap fun day out and a bit of a different opportunity to meet.

Any expressions of interest, ideas for the speed machine etc are most welcome.

They have a soapbox derby every year in Hinckley. The entry from MIRA is always loaded with science!!

Ideal wheel size is about 18" BMX wheels iirc, I welded a space frame shell up for one a while back, can't remember what the regulations are but this one had two bike disc brakes on front axles with a metal pedal welded between both brake levers and floor mounted for a pedal
