Well at least its still in one piece and on correct plates. It looks like whoever is driving it is not at the top of the evolutionary ladder, so all hope is not lost. You must be ripping your hair ou

When you get your car back and post a few pics, its always a good idea to blank out number plate details.

I know it wont stop plate cloning but at the very least makes it more difficult for thieves to fool the roadside cameras etc.

Thank you one and all I really appreciate it. I've been out again this morning for 2 hours looking in all them places that are out of the way etc. I still think its around as the police have told me the anpr caught it near the golf course (st albans road) there are more anpr cameras on them roads but it didn't get a hit on them. I am still proper angry but I'm sort of hopeful I'll get it back but that hope it's fading hourly..!! Insurance company not much use in respects of recouping my personal items £150 from car insurance and from home insurance their limit is 500 as it's classed as extention to "garden" my items in the car. I am revisting them facts at a later date cause that's not right and my head isn't ready for that battle at the moment getting car back is my priority.

If they're rolling round in it there's a fair chance it will get clocked by the Rozzers. Hope you do get it back. Yeah chase insurance problems when your head is a bit clearer, but at the same time keep on it.

It's just been spotted anpr in luton

I'm local. Watford and hemel, so will also keep em peeled.

Its silver got blue tinge hid's. Cheers for aiding the cause. I'm currently driving round luton just in case can't sit at home the adrenaline is killing me.

I'd find it pretty hard to sit still, stay safe though mate, get the Rozzers on speed - dial.

Cheers mate they are ready to phone. I don't think the family wagon would keep up if I needed to chase em. I Just hope to god they find the little feckers and more importantly my car in one bit. I'm sure my golf clubs have been sold on by now but you never know.??

No joy and no more news from the rossers. Adrenaline now spent time for zzzz's

Posted on FB this morning.

Any news?

Its really amazing this,

You'd have thought with all these camera's about they would have caught it by now.

If someone drove the same route at 45mph, prob' be tracked / stopped in 15 -20 mins.

I know it's mad, the police told me that the 1st anpr picture they took wasn't the best quality... I'm sure those cameras are not cheap and it can't even take a half decent picture.

I know it wont help the cause and i hope you get the car back soon

But

Stealing one is very easy. You can buy a lock pick to pick the door lock which then doubles up as an ignition key. Quick plug in of a laptop and its gone :(

ANPR is ok but picture depends on so many things! In reality it's just want to capture the reg which it has, at least you know roughly where it is!

FANTASTIC, the power of positive thinking, nice one mate well happy for you! See if you find anything 'interesting' in the glove box!

Brilliant!! Happy for you mate!!

Good news!  If cars could talk, I bet it'd have a few stories to tell you.....

That is superb news, Congradulations,

Maybe time to think of a mechanical anti-theft addition as well.

Maybe, also change door lock and ignition lock as well (not cheap but if you plan to keep the

car maybe worth thinking about)

Glad it's back in one piece mate

Brilliant news!

So glad they found it.

Have you got it back yet? I hope it's still as it was when you last saw it.

Alas not got it back yet as the police have to cover my car in fine powder etc to see if the little scallys have left behind finger prints then it's off to insurance company to check it over and then change all the locks (in my policy apparently) then it's gone to me when done.. I hope the buggers have filled it up with fuel..!!! I have met a fellow "rugby dad" recently who has a gps company who devolop some amazing stuff the aim was to get a gps tracker installed so that priority has increased. £199 to fit then £10 a month on a 12mth contact which is reasonable I think?? Can't wait to get my car back I'll certainly have a rummage around and see if any goodies have been left behind..

I'd be taking it for a very very deep clean. God knows what they done with it.

Glad you got it back though mate :)
