Can the oem xenon run 55w bulbs? Or do I stick to 35w?

to run 55w you'll need new ballasts or they might not even light up.

As above, night breakers for best performance on the road, but osram cool blue intense (cbi) are very close but look better when yoy look at the car, and can have a nicer colour to them.
