And now added a sunroof! (5-2-15)

 

Tentative delivery of late April early May so on a 15 plate.

 

Then I wondered about a personal Reg No so had a look on the DVLA web site, ended up buying BR15KVR (BR1SK.VR)s.

 

This all stemmed from looking at FL Mk2's a while back to replace my ageing Mk1 VRs, with a budget of around £10-12k which would come from the sale of my rally car.

Now today I've signed my life away on a PCP for the next 3 years to the tune of middle-high £20K's, then I buy a No plate that I don't really need but should look good if spaced correctly (couldn't possibly alter it in any way as that's illegal  )

 

Oh and the dealer did me a deal on the overall price which in effect makes the PCP interest free  .

You won't regret it and options look good, but I would say that anyway. Winter pack and folding/dimming mirrors have been particularly handy this week. Good plate.

My rally green vRS TSI estate with leather heated seats black pack plus has just arrived at the dealers ready for the 1st of March. Looking forward to it too.

Factory order, hence the 12-14 week delivery.

 

There are/were a couple of race blue hatches available from stock but they didn't have the extra's I wanted.

Mine is being built this week..... Due to a small administrative error that's 16 weeks. Just got to wait for transportation etc

Just been to the dealers for an unrelated reason and got looking around a showroom VRS and started thinking again, mmm sunroof.

 

Had a brief chat with one of the sales guys about wrapping the rest of the roof to match the black surround of the sunroof, can be arranged to be done before collection (build week 11).

 

Upshot is I've just added the sunroof to the list of options I ordered!

Just said goodbye to my faithful Mk1 VRS   :'( 

Sold her to a fellow Brisky user today.

 

Got the long wait before my nice shiny new VRS arrives at the dealers now   

 

Between now and then I've got to trundle around in my wife's old "R" reg Toyota Starlet, 145000 miles, 82bhp when new but probably around 20 now, leaky door seals (sometimes more water inside than out!), no remote central locking, manual windows etc!

Yay, she arrived at the dealers late yesterday, and I'm collecting it around 5pm tomorrow (Bank holiday Friday)  :clap:.

 

Then straight off to my Sons via Gloucester for a days rallying Saturday, so that will be a 400ish mile round trip and it's first wash by Sunday lunchtime.
