Need to get a new family car because of a new member of the family requires a larger car(baby boy, NOT A DOG)

looking at Octavia vrs estates

Cannot decide between petrol or diesel but think I want a manual not dsg

Bit concerned about what I have read about the timing chain issues on the petrol version

Hope some of you guys maybe able to put my mind at at rest

yep looking at 2009-2012 estate vrs. cant decide on petrol or diesel

i dont do a massive amount of mileage so petrol maybe my prefered choice.
