Bluetooth Audio from an iPhone

Featured Replies

Hello, not sure if this is posted in the right section, but is it possible to get Album Covers to appear on the car touch screen from iPhones? And also be able to scroll and select tracks and playlists through the infotainment system? Any answers are appreciated, even if it is simply 'no'!

What head unit do you have?

I had to embed all my music on iTunes and then to my iPhone for the album covers to show on my Amunsden.

The demo I drove had Columbus and did this from mine and wife's iphones. We use iTunes from a PC to manage music files

I have a yeti at the mo, with equivalent of Amundsun and this does too

Album art from an iPhone appears if you connect using USB, but not if you connect it using Bluetooth for music playback.

But you can't connect it via USB for music and via Bluetooth for Phone functionality, if I remember how my small amount of testing went when I first got my car...

Really? Can someone confirm this?

Fair enough.  As I said, I did some very limited testing.  I have Columbus, so I just copied a load of my music to that and play it off the internal jukebox.

I just got home and checked, I was lying..... It does that in my van, my loan yeti tells you info but doesn't display the artwork

I am sorry :-(

When I connect my iPhone 4s via Bluetooth to my Amundsen I only get a Bluetooth symbol, but I do get the album and track details.

I had to embed all my music in iTunes to get artwork. Soul destroying job that is when I've got 2500 tunes [emoji19]

I'll post a picture if I ever get my car back from the dealers [emoji57]
