Has anyone in UK ordered from this company in CZ

Light alloys, reducing unsprung weight for improved ride, that's a laugh, they're like lead weight wheels. Don't bother.

Are these not genuine Neptune's ?

Yes, looks to be an official Skoda site.

But just on the issue of 'lightweight'. Neptunes are not, by any stretch. 12-13Kg if I recall. A truly lightweight motorsport wheel, in 18", would be 8-9Kg. Speedline Turini or Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2/1.3 - that sort of thing. Ran Turinis myself, on the last Octavia.

So that's misleading.

Check (no pun intended) that they post to the UK, I know of a Skoda merchandise site which has clothing at much better prices than the UK but they won't ship abroad

Or if you want some lightweight gold alloys I have a set for sale :)

Very true. Especially with it being a Skoda website. They'll want to keep you 'aligned' to the correct country-specific distribution channel, no doubt!

...lightweight gold...

As good an example of a non-sequitur as I have seen. ;)

They're 9 carrot :)

Organic or non-organic? The former should be worth more. :)

Just think of the shipping costs for these "lightweight" wheels :D

Surely shipping cost for 1 wheel would be quite a bit less than the £70 difference from buying one from the UK. But at this point in time I don't even know if they do ship abroad or not.

Wish they were white. Cant really put gold wheels on a blue car. Will start to get subaru comments no doubt.

Its currently the only thing that is if im honest. Obviously I can get them colour changed but thats sacrilege. Hmm grr and other pondering noises.

Shipping weight will be around 14Kg per wheel, if you wanted to price up a courier cost. But as you say, the main issue is whether they'll ship to the UK.

This is a genuine Skoda/VAG shop that I have used before in France but don't be put off by the translation - how many of us lot can speak Czechoslovakian?

Prices are very good BUT as has been hinted at do check your postal costs (and if they ship to UK..) and get that confirmed before shipping.

Otherwise, I must confess, I have found several things significantly cheaper on `Eshop.Skoda-auto.com` than even Superskoda.com or Skodadop.com.

I`ve also found items cheapest at my local Skoda dealership e.g. I just bought two new shape front/rear emblem badges for my Superb at 9.98 euro each here in Perpignan at the outlaws....£15 the pair. Go figure.

But as ever, it always pays to look around first just to check  ;)
