took me 2 hours to replace both front side lamp bulbs  (yes im useless)

 used LED's 

 looks really nice

so hopefully wont have to do them again

 

Welcome to the world of people who have also changed Roomster side lights. If you did it,your not useless.

I use the little wire loop with a 90 degree hook on the end which comes with the other bits and bobs in the foam inset.

Hook the end onto the bulb holder and it pops out. After several changes I can now do the both in under 10 minutes.

Headlamps on the other hand, for me involve removing the front half of the wheel arch lining.

Cost me £4 at Halfords for them to replace them, worth every penny.

I've used and still like the led replacement sidelight bulbs in other vehicles. Don't depend upon not having to replace them again tho, I've found that the led bulbs I bought from ebay end up with one of the LEDs starting to flicker.
