Looking good Chris. Nice motor too. I've never been a fan of Citroens but they are looking much better these days. My old man has had Citroens for the past 20 years and loves them!

Nice car ,sits high has it got adjustable suspension ?

Yes

I just press a button and it goes low

I can then pretend I'm 18.. Lol

Fair enough Chris i'll not try again.

It's come up lovely Chris. Great colour.

Really nice car Chris looking forward to seeing it, I did consider one when buying my yeti L&k but after owning 2 yetis prior to my new one I just thought I'd stick with what I know and love.

You've done a cracking job on it too, bet the wife is over the moon with it.

You should have added some pics of the leather seats, they were some of the best quality leather seats I've seen when I test drove one.

Looking forward to having a detail day if we get the opportunity.

Oh and I love the colour.

Ill try and get you some Interior shots Carl

Good result Chris, that's come up well.

How many miles on it? Bit surprised to see Nexen rubber on the front, for a 6-month old car.

8000 miles and 6 months old

Tyres wernt bad but they replaced them without me asking

The tyres feel pretty good TBH, but Im probably going to swap them to the Rear

Michelin Pilots on the Rear at the moment with plenty of tread

I'd keep the nexen at the front chris, assuming they dont grip as well as the Michelin as this will give more predictable handling. Made the mistake of worse rear tyres on the xsara vts years ago, proper comedy handling.

Mmmm....I was always told to put new tyres on the rear

I shall see

Normally I would agree, but the michelins should barely be worn on the rear and I would expect to be better than new budgets. Once the nexens have worn the put the replacements on the rear and the old michelins on the front. Anyway just my two penneth, get some qualified advice if in doubt.

Lots of people run Nexens and are very happy with them

Too many tyre-name snobs spoil the broth

Which Nexen type are they, Chris?

They do feel ok, as said, though

Should be fine

Just surprised at a (main?) dealer fitting them, that's all. And also at the age the car was - to need fresh front boots in that timeframe and mileage surprises me.

Didn't make any comment about their ability :)

I wasn't getting at you personally, Steve, but the minute I mentioned I'd got Nexens on the Facebook page I got instantly harangued by the ditchfinder brigade

That's OK, just as long as you don't have me down as a 'tyre snob' :D

Would I ever? :)
