VCDS VAG Com Lights

Featured Replies

I know there are options for VCDS coding for the citigo. One is the 'follow me home' lights that operate, when byte is enabled, with headlamp flash on ignition off. My question is do the lights also turn on, on unlock?

Interesting I'd like to know this too.

This feature doesn't work as far as I know, I've heard it works on the "Elegance" model, I know because I have both coming home and leaving home activated, both don't work

Interestingly the other month I triggered a coming home function.

I flashed my headlights a few times and the lights then came on and stayed on for about 15 seconds.

Not repeated the experiment though.

Might have to try that instead then :wonder:

It's not the same as on the Octavia. It only works when you switch off the ignition and pull the indicator stalk back on our Citigo elegance. Once you get out of the car it stays on for around 30 seconds on our car. It does not work when you unlock the car and its dark.

I have the elegance.

So if I turn off ignition, and flash lights at same time, they'll stay on for 15 seconds?

Maybe that's what I did......kinda useful in some ways
