I have an iPhone 6 Plus and love it. For me the one plus the Android phones had were screen size but that's gone now and there's also no problem in our house with chargers as I have the 6 Plus, wife h

  • I like my Windows Phone Lumia just to be awkward.   I wouldn't go back to Android myself and I've never been a fan of the Fruity Company.   I think whatever you choose you have to be happy with th

Depends on the network.

Vodafone is diabolical and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. O2 comes a close 2nd for poor service.

Personally comparing both against my personal EE run phone, there are now very few places I can't get a signal or data connection slower than H. Anywhere I can't get a signal, none of the others can either.

It depends on the area, up here in the North of Scotland it's basically O2 or Vodafone out of the city centre although even when in London recently I was getting Vodafone reception and higher speeds more consistently than anyone else in the group which surprised me given the number of complaints I hear about Vodafone.   I'm sure there's plenty of areas where they're not great but then EE are a waste of time up here and I'm sure they're better elsewhere.

What do people mean by customisable when they talk about android? I have heard a lot of people say that.

There's a lot more flexibility to change the behaviour and settings of Android from fairly simple stuff all the way through to being able to build your own version of the operating system.  For me I didn't like the standard Android scaling (everything is too large and takes up too much space on the big screen) so I've changed the scaling and I've replaced the Samsung launcher with Nova launcher which changes the way the main interface looks and behaves.  That way I can now run a six by six icon grid with a seven icon dock at the bottom plus I can configure exactly how the launcher works in terms of the animations, gestures etc. - I'm really impressed with it particularly given the paid option is only £2.50 and doesn't need root.  There's generally a lot more customisation within Android even without installing other applications so I can have my phone working just the way I want.

It's one of the aspects I don't like about Windows Phone, I can see what they're trying to achieve in terms of having very consistent behaviour across the entire OS and across different WP devices but it's frustrating not being able to customise parts I don't like.  I bought a Nokia Lumia 925 as a small alternative to my bigger phone but found these aspects of WP that couldn't be changed too frustrating particularly the keyboard which Apple now allow you to change.

I stuck the Google Plus Launcher on my S3 yesterday to see if it makes it run any faster but seems about the same. Its not blown my mind with how good it is or anything like that.

had both, currently have a nexus 5 with 5.0.1 and to be honest I wouldn't say one is especially better then the other, they're just different and whilst my iPhone 5 cost more than my nexus, it feels a better product play with both and make your own mind up :)

EE should hopefully be getting it's network upgraded soon now BT own them.

OR can't even upgrade their own network.

Went with an open mind at renewal this time, now that Apple have finally increased their screen size.

Test drove both apples in store, then "borrowed" a family members 6 for the afternoon.

Was not impressed at all with either of the 6's. And then when you factor in the cost v spec its just crazy to pick them over a cheaper more powerful alternative.

Stuck with android, a LG G3 , this time. Plus got a great renewal deal making it over half the cost of a basic 6.

+1 on the LG g3,i absolutely love mine

Lee Been there a thousand times, when I started work a manager showed me the company decision tool,it was a 6 sided spinning top, nothing new but sometimes a change every time it was spun so nothing new,Ithought he was joking but it wasn't long before I relised it was true.

I think there's an app for that now on the iPhone they give us :(
