The worlds most expensive Fabia Vrs SE on Ebay

Featured Replies

This must be a very tiring experience for yourself? You've said before that EBay have been fairly hopeless in solving the problem too.

To the OP: £11k for an SE? Bloody bargain, a different colour with factory leather, definitely worth a thousand more than an identical age/mileage standard... [emoji52] :peek:

Yes!

Especially as its only text that has been wrote, confirming it as No 518 for sale, I had much better luck last time getting it removed when pictures were attached to the advert.

Its happened 2/3 times since I have purchased the car from a fellow brisky member in nov 2014, I believe he had similar troubles in the past with the same thing, This particular car being advertised on Ebay, and pistonheads I believe also.

http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/330253-sold/ link to previous owners thread of it being listed on ebay as a scam. <<<

Lets just hope this advert gets removed again and everybody can get on with life :)

The mods are worth nothing unless someone is shopping for a modified car. Most people aren't. So it narrows down the pool of people looking to buy, but hopefully anyone that does come to look will be genuine and knowledgeable.

It will undoubtedly be worth more simply because it's an 09 plate. You can argue all day long that it's still a 2007 car that sat in a dealer for almost 3 years but it has rarity value and it's about as new a plate as it's possible to get on a vRS. And MUST be worth something.

So price it high. Price it at what you paid for it or more. You can always come down, but it's almost impossible to go up in price.

Dont think I will be putting it up for what I paid - cetainly wouldnt get any interest then.

You are right best to price higher to start as can always come down. Hope to get some sort of premium for it being the only 09 plate and the quality of the modifications it has.

Appreciate the market for modified cars is somewhat niche but not in a rush to sell at a silly price.
