Anyone fancy a second hand Ford?

Featured Replies

Tempting, but none of them look too baby friendly :( Would love to turn up to Mothercare in one of those though and ask them to demo fitting a child seat

Furby will still have it in the twisties

Why are they so expensive I always wonder?

Could you not just buy an Evo or Subaru for about

I'm sure I read somewhere that the engines were 600bhp, but that they were restricted down to the 300bhp (or thereabouts? ) limit. The active diffs, sequential gearboxes, rollcages all add up as well.

Does the price quoted include spares too?

Quite right Chris.

They have a 32mm restrictor plate fitted to the turbo. WRC limits them to 300bhp this way, although Toyota got banned a few years ago after forgetting to fit them. When the rally cross guys get hold of them they remove the restrictions and have them running around the 600bhp mark - they're awesome and with a faster acceleration than F1 cars but on gravel
