My mates got a mk1 rs focus he likes it

I used to go mountain biking with a lad that has one, goes like stink, was genuinely impressed when he took me out in it.

 

I think his was running at approx 300-350ish IIRC. Mahooooosive Turbo lag though.

 

His isn't a daily, it only comes out when it's sunny!

 

It does have a lot of bespoke parts on it, the centre console is carbon and replacements costs thousands.

 

I'm a massive fan, they are quickly becoming a future classic, it helps that too many young lads are getting a hold of them and ruining them. So if you can get a standard car, stick it in the garage and wait for the value to rise.

 

Didn't Prodrive play a part in developing it?

Drive plenty. Some left the factory with good hanging others not so good. This is one reason EVO keep changing it's rating whenever they drive one
