Interiors

Featured Replies

Hi there new here,

Just bought what I believe to be a mk3 Octavia tdi (13 plate) looking to replace the standard interior with something a bit Punchier.

Does anyone happen to know which models I can transplant the interiors out of? I like the looks of the vrs interior but they look a bit scarce at the moment.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Have you considered a re-trim? Seat Surgeons do some good deals for Briskoda members, got quoted £850 the other day to trim a Black Edition with a choice of different leathers...

I hadn't no, may have a look into it 850 is a bit pricey at the moment though maybe in the future

Any body else have any ideas?

You'll be hard pressed to get an interior for less than 850 unless it's old and tatty

Agreed. I doubt there are enough Octavia's in scrap yards to get a cheap interior yet, A re-trim is probably your best bet.

Thought that may have been the case. Out of curiosity which models can seats be transplanted from I've seen some people have done full a5 heated seats with electrics. How would I go about finding the floor plans for the cars to see if they matched mine?

You'll probably have trouble with that too because of the new MQB platform that's only been around a couple of years. The list of cars with the platform is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Group_MQB_platform. Doesn't mean you won't be able to do it, but it's unlikely.

Great, thanks for that I'll take a look
