Estate boot length?

Featured Replies

Couldn't seem to find this, has anyone measured the boot in the estate?

Seats down, from the bootlid to the front seats? Just want to know if it's possible to get a dismantled sofa in the back.

Cheers.

If you need the exact measurements I can do them tomorrow. But I asked around before getting the car and was told on another forum that when the passenger seat is pulled all the way to the front, and the back of the seat is upright, you can fit a 2m wardrobe and still have about 15cm of space left.

Am I missing something?  Why don't you measure your own car?

Mm, take it you must have folding passenger seat on your car! Because the front seat on my car barely moves forwards at all and won't go right back either, head rest is pretty much a fixture too. The car is pretty big inside with rear seats down but you'd really need the folding passenger seat option to be able to carry really long objects regularly and it isn't available on all models, thought it was on mine when I bought it but Skoda had just made a botch of their website and showed it on there at that time as standard on the Elegance, when it isn't even available at all on that model.

Nope, got the VRS, so no folding seat. As I said those were the measurements I was told on a forum. Having measured it for myself now: I get exactly 200cm between the back of the front seat (upright) to the end of the boot.

Is it a 2 or 3 seater. Also depends on the amount of dismantling. If a 3 I would have thought not.

Just be mindful of the slope of the rear window, I transported a fridge freezer in mine and had to have the vbf down to fit it in. My old A6 had a steeper angle so would fit big bulky items better.

Thanks for the help guys. Didn't need to know in the end.

But now I'm curious...I guess I'll have to grab a tape measure on my way to the garage tomorrow.
