Hi just wandering if anyone has bought one of these handheld obd2 scanners ? , I'm looking at buying one "just in case" looking at a u281 on amazon but not sure , all I need is a reader and clearing codes they are available for £20 but do they work on vag vehicles with canbus ?

That's similar to the one i've got, Reads most things but does not access all of the cars systems, It's ok for the ''simpler'' codes but no good for the more complex stuff.
