Got a link?

Me rear driver side read door lock is half shagged, opens about in 15 locking cycles..

Not an electrical issue, filled it with 3in1 spray oil yesterday which helped, had been locked for 9weeks, popped open randomly yesterday so I specifically didn't lock the car when I got home so jcould start examining it!!!

On to phone so not easy but just ebay "octavia mk1 door lock" there are tons of what look like the same item

cheers, will have a proper look later on

My front passenger is about 1 year old and works great, the rear left is only 4 months and works great. I opened one before install and looked to me good quality very similar to oe.is made by A.I.C

Same here - normally buy Genuine OEM Skoda parts from TPS but couldn't justify the price for a 'non-critical' part

Bought one at about £25 and its been fine since November

I've just ordered one from the glasgow supplier - will report back when fitted. gonna get this central locking system sorted!
