Yet another rear washer problem thread

Featured Replies

I have read so many old issues on here but not seen one similar to mine (unless i am tired and just did'nt see it!) - the front connection behind the airbox had popped off so i put that back on and it doe not **** fluid out at the front anymore - but does **** it out on the connection at the rear motor mech - see pic below. I have stuck a needle through the exit but still no joy it just flies out of the circled in the pic - does this mean a new mech? i cannot even get this connection off to investigate.

The outlet nozzle turns the flow abruptly through 90°, so poking a pin/needle in there hasn't got a hope of clearing it if it's blocked.  You really need to pull the whole nozzle off the car and work at it in the kitchen sink; ours was well clogged up with 'dried slime' - to use the technical term.

I remember when i replaced my whole wiper motor i had similar issue

The pipe had been forced of because the new motor had a tiny bit of swarf that was wedged in the nozzle.

Had to get tweezers on it. Mine had also come off in the passenger side rear pillar.
