No reviews under this dealer so i thought id add one.

Theyr under the name of James Logan cars now, not irvine skoda although they still know theyr stuff about skoda cars.

Dealt with Nigel down there when my fabia vrs was up for its 42k major service. everything went well and a courtesy car for traveling to work was offered (not asked for) which definatley helped me out and cut out alot of hassle. prices of the servicing was good as well compared to other local dealers.

I was informed that the air filter or fuel filter (not sure which) had to be ordered in that day because they didnt have it in stock, and they were able to get the filter from a local company express delivered into the dealership and fitted without fuss.

good experience all round and would go back without a doubt for any other problems.

Update on that. I have been using James Logan Cars for several years now (Octy mkI TDI) and found them sincere, accommodating and fair. They are much more reasonable than the bigger Belfast based Skoda specialists. Their workshop is competent, but, as I said elsewhere on these forums, they seem weirdly reluctant to 'take the bull by the horns' and you might end up with a partial solution on occasion. They know VAG and Skoda in particular and I understand the workshop staff are more or less Skoda enthusiasts, owning Skodas themselves. James the boss seems a nice bloke and I can recommend them. Just make sure they understand you want it *really* fixed, not just enabled to limp along another few weeks.

Had good service from them as well. Had timing belts done on TDI Golf and Tiguan previously. Their prices were better than local VW specialists. Small dealership which has undoubtedly lost passing trade with the A2 dual carriageway now bypassing them completely.
