Audi oil consumption lawsuit

Featured Replies

Already done George, two seperate enails regarding the 2 cars ive owned, then another linking them

'Watchdog' BBC1 @ 8pm tonight have the feature on the issue of excessive oil use in the Audi 2.0 TFSI engine.

Hopefully they've made contact with some of the Fabia owners who have contacted them.

If not, I'd call them

There's a few people tweeting now it's not just an audi issue.

If you're on Twitter it'd be worth also adding your voice to the 5 people, including a Skoda tech ref engine swaps

My friend's Audi dealership, replaced to 2.0tfsi units last week.

Both under warranty.

Haven't got details of what was offered with the New Motors yet.

Will find out though next week.

It is good to see that it has been made visible to the general public, or at least watchers of Watchdog. Though Audi has been covering all costs already even for cars that are outside the warranty and service network, seems they still need to inform all their dealers so that owners don't get ripped off - the "informed" ones have ended up with the correct treatment it seems.

Shame the same wasn't championed by watchdog on the Fabia vRS MK2,as a member supplied them with all the facts.

So some Fabia vRS OWNERS are out of pocket, over there Dealer /manufacture CS lack of support experience.

Perhaps they should raise a retrospective claim!!??

Did watchdog follow up with any affected members who contacted them on the back of the audi report?

I know from reading elsewhere some VW owners were contacted. But no update by BBC watchdog that this isn't just an audi problem

BBC Watchdog were very silent on an update on the following weeks show.   Very much so.

The first item the week before was so very poor and factually incorrect at points,

and wrapping up that show they just never bothered much about any feed back coming in from viewers.

Too much Motor Cycle Riding Presenter with Actors and Houses set up with CCTV catching dodgy individuals to really pursue

one of the biggest motor manufacturers in the World and one of the wealthiest corporations.

Mention a view viewers issues, a promise of actions, that the Consumer Duties of the British Broadcasting Corporation done,

move on now, nothing to see here.

It is the role of the Trust to ensure that the BBC Executive has in place an effective, clear and fair framework to respond to complaints. (LINK)

Is there a point in complaining every time the BBC transmit a sh1te programme or Anne Robinson appears on TV?

That would be a waste of our own money where we pay £12.12 a month.

You are absolutely right, endless complaining is bad, m'kay?

Can we get back to what your interest is in the MK2 Fabia and the engine issues and my issues with the engine issues.

Is it just research still, and whats new that you have discovered.?

Do you have a Skoda or some Volkswagen Group car, or are you going to get one,

what about the new Fabia, or what have you in mind?
