HELP PLEASE! - Lost locking wheel nuts.....

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Iv'e been very stupid and have lots my locking wheel nuts on my VRS. I have a sneaky suspension I binned them by accident a month ago and now my tyres need replacing.

Has anyone been in a similar position / could advise on what's best to do. I was going to phone the main dealership but didn't want to get ripped off without asking people on here first.

Many thanks in advance :)

Mine became damaged and had to replace a few years ago, just telephone your Skoda dealer, they will want the Reg number and Card details, it cost me about £13 - £15 and I collected in about 48Hrs.

Now record the "number" on the security key when you get  - for the next time! Maybe I'm being smug, but checking that number and recording it is one of the first things I tend to do when I get a new car - just in case.

I may have misread your post, I was referring to a Spare Key & (one) Nut.

Ah, on re-reading this, that is what I thought had happened as well, ie only bolt "key" lost - I was also wrong!

Specialist cars Skoda in Aberdeen removed my locking nuts for fee after i mistakenly left the key attached to a wheel.
