Octavia 2.0 TDi Elegance - issues and Sat Nav?

I have today driven a nearly new one of these and would welcome some input as I would be a first time Skoda owner. The car seemed every bit as good as reviews suggest but am buying blind - are there any particular issues I should be aware of and look out for?

Also, what is a typical service cost for this model please?

Final question - is it possible to upgrade the Amundsen Sat Nav to the Columbus unit and any idea what it would cost?

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue. I wonder if someone can help me identify the correct OEM product number for a gearbox oil change I am planning. The car is 19 years old and just passed the 50k mile mark and I thought it would be prudent to change the oil when I service it this summer. The trouble I am having is getting any reliable information from online purveyors of oil. I would like to buy original VAG oil. Mine is a 5 speed manual gearbox.
