I've just put my order in for a 1.2 90 SEL Estate in Corrida red. This will be my first new car so looking forward to taking delivery!

Although the more I look at it, I wonder wether the colour and wheels might be a bit juvenile?

No, I like the colour and wheels.

In fact, I quite fancied the black wheels but couldn't justify the cost.

It's quite nice in red, however my wife and I have had 5 red cars since 2008 and I fancied a change. Like Prog, I pick up my 1.2 110 SEL Estate this week, it's Denim Blue with silver roof rails.

Although the more I look at it, I wonder wether the colour and wheels might be a bit juvenile?

 

Permitted myself to be juvenile and ordered the black wheels to the moon white estate

Still waiting for a build week....

Decided to stick with the red and black. Just waiting for my build date now!

My top of the list is the same colour but with the normal alloy wheels (i like the contrast), in SE L with the 110 BHP Version but with DSG.

I test drove a 110 DSG estate and it was very nice, just couldn't justify the extra cost!

Had a call from the dealer today, the car will be delivered to me on Friday afternoon, over a month earlier than originally stated. Result!

Well, Navarone, how are you finding it so far? I'm also new to Skoda ownership, have been very pleasantly surprised by the build, comfort and sofistication of my Fabia hatch.

Looks really nice in red with black wheels how does a Fabia estate compare in size to a Octy hatch?  As I think a Fabia hatch might be to small for me.

Ooh no. Reds the fastest ill have you know haha.

Hopefully getting my super fast white estate at the weekend, it's at the Port of Tyne waiting to be transported the 8 miles to the dealer.

With it being in the fastest colour, a white TSI 110 SE, I'm expecting it to be like **** of the proverbial stick
