Citigoing again

Featured Replies

Well after only 5 months my Tornado red Citigo Elegance will make way for a Fabia Mk3 hatch.I really like the Citigo, but I need a bigger car to carry my mums wheelchair in and as we tried yesterday a wheelchair just fits in the boot but with 3 people in the car no room for a big shop[emoji20].To be fair it was always going to be to much ,but when we got my second Citigo we didn't know that my mum would need the wheelchair .

So the order has been placed and I have added extras so I will be waiting about 12 weeks before I get the Fabia ,so at least I can have 3 more months with my Citigo .

Look out in July I shall be selling winter tyre and steelies the mid level boot floor , new carpet mats , phone holder.

So I'm looking forward to the Fabia but will be sad to lose the Citigo.[emoji17]

Did you consider a Rapid, or dare I say it what I have. It's got a massive load area, plenty of room for your needs. No need to add extras, they are already there.

I considered waiting for the new Fabia but looking at prices it put me off.

Enjoy your new car, it's still great getting a new one whatever the model.

See you in the Fabia III forum, Mick.

I did try a rapid but I still like the Fabia ,unlike a lot of people I think it looks a lot better , I'm getting a windfall so decided to have some fun as well as have extra room For the wheelchair . I'm having SE-L so lots of toys

I'm only browsing the Fabia forum Prog, there seems to be a lot of negativity towards the Mk 3.

I can't bring myself to leave Skoda just yet Mick A.

The mk3 looks way better than the mk2. Prices......well don't get me started on that, it's the reason I'm leaving Skoda.

The citigo is probably the last real Skoda.

Škoda is trying their limits now. How much customers are willing to pay for. I think it's not wrong.

I have probably spent more than I wanted too but I still like Skoda ,but let's be honest Skoda's have not been cheap for years. But if I paid for a Vw up without knowing it's built in the Skoda factory I think I would be a little bit miffed[emoji1]

Emil don't you mean it's wrong?

A surprising amount of negativity. It seems that the lack of a vRS model means that the whole range is a write off.

Will the wheelchair not strap to the roof of the Citigo?

Sorry, another 'not very useful' post!  :D

We were going to tow mum in the wheelchair behind of the Citigo but thought this could damage the paintwork has her reactions times have slowed down a bit, but I thought the mpg would suffer if we but her on the roof [emoji2][emoji6]

Are you getting your new car from Sandicliffe, Mick?

The citigo is probably the last real Skoda.

Exactly my view too.

Be interesting to see how quickly discounts start appearing on the Fabia Mk 3, and retained values after 12 months.

No I haven't gone to Sandicliffe Prog I have gone through a friend and another Main dealer.
