Fabia VRS wishbone mount "brace"

Featured Replies

Who was it that had the new wishbone "udders". I'm interested.

I fitted a pair along with uprated front mountings to Neo_VR's Fabia.

Any advantages?

Colin seemed to think so, but im waiting for him to post a review before I say anymore.

:wavey: another interested party. :D

Who makes them, URL link perhaps.

Powerflex, listed as VW Polo 2001> iirc.

Think its a good idea to stick them in whilst the bushes are quite new? Is it liable to start them cracking like my old ones did? (admittedly only noticed after 50k+ miles)

Thanks I'll PM Colin. :)

The fitting is a wee bit too advanced for jason tho!

go on then? Would have thought a rubber mallett would tap them in. :D (and I love wielding a hammer around things :D  )

Hi all, could i just bump this and ask how easy these are to fit? I have a Mk4 Ibiza Sport and the rear wishbones are moving a little too much - is it just a case of hammering 'em in?

Many thanks!

You made it then :)

The rear ones arent too advanced to fit. They do slide in place and are held in with a plastic tag.

The front wishbone bushes however require pressing out.

Thanks Lummox, much appreciated :D

There seems to be a fair bit of play in my front suspension, I can rock the front wheels front and backwards, my mechanic mate suggested it could be worn bushes on the lower wishbone - would these Polo uprated items be the job to fix this??

Edit : Just been to their site and found Fabia specific bushes;

http://www.powerflex.co.uk/products.asp?cat=0030&catalog=0230&submit1.x=28&submit1.y=17&submit1=GO

Im guessing its the Front wishbone rear bush i need..?
