Colour maxi dot orange numbers while scrolling

Featured Replies

As above really. This happened for the first time today. 10,000 miles in and whilst scrolling through the driving data the numbers were in Orange before returning to white once selected. Never happened before. I had just pulled over and gotten something out of the boot. No warning alarms. A glance through the manual and a google hasn't brought any answers.

What is this?

Hmm, new one on me I'm afraid and I flip through my colour Maxidot quite a lot.

Could be the TFT screen beginning to fail? That shouldnt happen.

I'm pleased you mention it. It happened to me once. It was in the last month. I was not able either to grasp why this occured.

No. The lettres were very Clear, exactly as usual, but orange. No alarm either.

It does look very deliberate. I'll let it rest for the night and see what happens in the morning! Glad to hear I'm not the only one

Shouldnt display in orange. Possibly a software glitch and just one of those things.

Subliminal happenings...'buy more skodas'

Yes mine did the same yesterday,ok now though.

New one on me. Not happened on mine yet. Of course skoda will want pic to change under warranty if its a fault :(

Colour MDF all figures display orange whilst scrolling through screens to shown you which screen you are currently looking at, it is supposed to do this.........as soon as you stop scrolling the numbers go white.........

Mine does this & so do those that I have seen it is normal

It hasn't done it today. Back to normal. Always white when scrolling & when selected.

Same as mine. It did it only once so far...

It's always white on mine too. Could it be that it was orange on an older software version and there's a bug that makes it revert to that in some situations?

Ah hang on.....difference between the two images.....you have your cruise control on.

Could that be why? Cant say I particularly remember ever scrolling through vehicle settings whilst on cruise.

Mine is built in week 2 2015

Never happened on mine. But it seems a sort of warning/alert. Did you experience it when your speed is above the set threshold?

When it happened to me, it was on a morning and it lasted until I parked at work. Everything was back to white in the evening. I thought of an alarm but did not detect anything that could be wrong.

Let's put our heads together, I think it does this during regeneration? Has it happened on any petrols?

It happens on my new GTD all the time as it did on my old one. Still not exactly sure why.

Mine is petrol did it once in April not done it since.
