sprint yellow

Featured Replies

Just playing about yesterday with the vrs configurator, noticed sprint yellow is no longer an option, does anyone know if there is going to be a new colour to replace it or a new shade of yellow, was thinking of going for yellow when i change my estate for a hatch, so choice now will be to stick with rallye green or after seeing bindinbears car a metal grey hatch

I've got Rallye Green, but in estate. It certainly stands out from the crowd. Only had possitve comments.Even had a guy stopped his car, got out, came over to say what a lovely colour. One media reviewer said its like Marmite, you either love it or..... I love it, but suppose that's why I chose it.

It's also gone from the German configurator, but the Dutch and French one still have it (the dutch one even says it's metallic ;) ) Haven't heard anything about it being replaced (or gone for that matter).

A female colleague of mine has a Fabia in yellow, looks funny enough to stand out. There's a sprint yellow Octy RS estate in our street but tbh it looks very dull when the car isn't clean. It's either not cleaned often or it just needs a bit of dirt similar to black to look horrible.

Colour is a very personal choice and yellow wouldn't be mine. Green's much better if you want to stand out and hides the dirt better (and I would have chosen it), if you want to blend in (wolf in sheeps clothing) then the metal grey is the one. And we can all agree that it can look absolutely stunning: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/300095-metal-grey/?p=4183918

My old FL MKII Vrs ( hatch ) looked the dogs danglies in yellow but the new MKIII Vrs ( Hatch ) doesn't suit yellow, yet the Estate version does........

You need White, the new Yellow

Just my opinion

i would love a vrs in topaz brown, but think the replacement will be green like my current mk3 estate

It's still on the Irish configurator as well.

After having seen a topaz brown mk3 fabia the day before I went to sign for my octy I would have to think the same its a very unusual colour and quite nice. And I wish skoda would have the option like Audi of picking any colour you fancy at extra cost

I've been under the impression that it's possible in some countries. (At least it seems to be possible on the skoda-auto.cz configurator.)

This - for yellow to work it has to be clean and strong sunlight - as per photo by Nuriyan.

Unfortunately central Scotland does not lend itself to taking the risk of a yellow motor.
