Seat Retrims

Featured Replies

Out of interest, does anyone know roughly how much it would cost to get the standard seats in a fabia retrimmed. Say in fabric - black and grey to match the look of the fab RS seats?

That's if its possible to retrim normal seats like that....

Am having one of those "what can I do to my car" days. Later on I'll realise I'm fairly broke and try and prioritise a bit more... :D

Good question...as far as I can tell, the fabric is just a cover, which slides over and clips into place. I was thinking of enquiring with my dealer how much the vRS leather seat coverings are, but then it occurred to me that I don't really like them, and that I'd rather have proper full leather. :D

Er, anyway, to answer your question - let me know if you do find anything out... :D

:)

As I think I've mentioned just a few times before, I'm not the greatest fan of the "pale yellow skyscraper" trim inside my fab. Am thinking that a retrim and the door cards from the fabRS would change the look of it in a big way. As always, cost is the main factor....

Could try this lot for a quote on coverings. Know a friend that got this done on their Pug205 (leather) and was a good job.

What's the URL for one of them?

:D

Is this the Carisma you were referring to:

Carisma

Unit B

Commerce Way

Colchester

CO2 8HH

01206 792697

Is that seat covers or lingerie, or seat covers made of lingerie? Or am I thinking of another Carisma?

Their web-site www.carismastyle.co.uk doesn't seem to have any mods for the Mitsubishi Carisma.

My Dad will be disappointed, he's wanted "Lexus" style lights on his Carisma for years.:D

The telephone number on that website is 01905... so i'm guessing it's not the Carisma based in Colchester (01206)...

I did find their website once, which had a really snazzy "coming soon" holding page, but no content....

Yup Denis, that's them. Must have a look through the scant collection of b-racer mags I have to see if their URL is listed anywhere!

Steve

Found this document on the web. Carisma's address is on the last page, but doesn't mention a web address. The address and telephone number are different from the ones I got from BT's web enquiries.

If you want a good job doing then I can personally recommend Carisma Colchester. Jamie and Greg are friends of mine and do a wicked job. The price aint cheap, but its damn good !

PS - Aleady talked to Greg about retrimming the 'silver mesh' on my vRS !

Andy,

That's actually one of the 'vanity' mods I'd like. How did you go on? (I'm assuming you meant replacing the mesh with leather or something else plush :D )
